While I'm Thinking About Werewolves

Once upon a time, I said I'd never have werewolves in my novels. There still aren't any, but that doesn't mean I won't find a home for them one day. I didn't like the mythology behind them and I couldn't get on board with a creature that wolfs out at the full moon. What can I say? I'm team Edward all the way. (Except for maybe Oz in Buffy. He's possibly the best werewolf in my past.)

I have a friend who loves shifter novels. So, one day, I picked up one at random. Dark by Kat Kinney. To say I was hooked is an understatement. At the time, it was the only one in her series that was published - I was going to have to wait for book two! Oh, no! The next thing I know, I'm abandoning my vampire heavy To Be Read list on Goodreads to tear through Vivian Arend's wolf and bear shifter books.

Such awesome stories and such great characters.

I guess you can say I'm coming around to werewolves. Add in the restaurant from last week's blog and it might not be long before you see one creep into my writing after all.
