Squawking Bird

I had no idea a red-shouldered hawk was such a noisy bird. Once has moved into the wooded lot next to my house. As I sit here writing on a beautiful, spring day, he's been making noise. For over an hour straight. Now add on top of the noise that I have concern that he might pick up my pet from the backyard. (My pets are all ten pounds or more, making it extremely unlikely - but not impossible.)

Makes me wish for the yippy dogs that used to live in the house next door.
