Poolside
I've lived in my subdivision for eleven years. (I can't believe it's been that long....) In all those years, I've used our pool less than ten times.
However, this year, I've found that thirty to sixty minutes of sunshine a couple of times each week really helps my ability to sleep well (despite what my fitbit says, which is convinced I never get deep sleep). I've probably used the pool more this year than all the other years put together. I also have refound my love of swimming. Do some laps, cool off in the water, lay out in the sunshine before it gets too hot. I feel great.
I might lose a few hours of work time each week by making a point to lay out in the sun, but my mental health is more stable and my sleep schedule is more refreshing. It's important to do things to take care of you so you can do the things the world needs of you - like writing the next Retribution novel!
